The Karate Federation of Armenia has officially opened its fifth branch, at the Kotayk gym in Abovyan. The hall was renovated with the support of the regional administration: new tatami and a ventilation system were installed.
On the opening day, more than 200 guests came to the hall — parents, representatives of local authorities and the federation's leadership. Members of the national team gave a demonstration performance.
Which groups are running
Three groups have opened at the branch: children's (ages 6–10), juniors (ages 11–15) and a fitness group for adults. The sessions are led by Tigran Baghdasaryan, the federation's senior coach for children's groups.
- Children's group — Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday, 16:00
- Juniors group — Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday, 17:40
- Adults — Friday, 19:30
There has always been a karate tradition in Abovyan; it's just that for many years there was no hall with proper conditions. Now there is one, and already in the first month we have more than 60 sign-ups.
You can sign up for the first free trial session through the contact form on the federation's website.
